Phygital Ukulele Workshop hosted at SKH Kei Fook Primary School

SKH Kei Fook Primary School recently hosted the "Phygital Ukulele Workshop," a collaborative initiative between Index Academy and Chord Hero that aimed to integrate STEAM education with the metaverse, music, and craftsmanship. Over four days, students created unique ukuleles and learned to play using Chord Hero's application, ChordVentures, while utilizing VoxEdit software to transform their physical instruments into digital assets. This innovative approach enhanced the visibility of their work and fostered an understanding of ArtTech (art technology). Teacher Mr. Si Wai-keung noted initial concerns about students mastering VoxEdit, but he was pleased to see them quickly excel in 3D design, highlighting the importance of diverse tools for self-expression and creativity in education.
