Chord Hero Conducts Workshops at Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Bringing STEAM Education to Life on Campus

Chord Hero recently conducted a special two-day workshop series at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, introducing students to the joy of musical instrument creation through our signature Maker Ukulele Set. The workshops brought together university students in an engaging, collaborative environment where creativity and technical skills merged seamlessly.

Throughout the sessions, participants worked in teams to assemble their own ukuleles from scratch, applying principles of design, engineering, and craftsmanship. The workshop space buzzed with energy as students problem-solved together, shared insights, and celebrated each milestone in the assembly process.

The Complete Learning Journey at PolyU

The workshop series at Hong Kong Polytechnic University exemplifies Chord Hero's educational philosophy: From Makers to Musicians -- Where Learning Begins!" This two-phase approach first engages students in the hands-on creation of their instruments, followed by developing the musical skills to play them.

Next month, the same students will reunite to begin the second phase of their musical journey using ChordVentures, Chord Hero's gamified music learning application. This continuation will transform their handcrafted ukuleles from objects of pride into functional instruments of musical expression.
